Ivan Blažev had a rare opportunity to work on a project with a group of pupils during a very dramatic period for Macedonia in 2002 and 2003, when young people of different entities were connecting through workshops. He took photographs of them and later on he wrote: “They had their reasons to be there and they wanted somebody to hear them, and I was somehow trying to give them space in which their voices will be heard and a way for their stories to leave the classroom.
